Lulilist Cream is a broad-spectrum topical antifungal cream formulated with Luliconazole 1.0% w/w. It is useful in the treatment of fungi affecting the skin, including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), and seborrheic dermatitis.

Luliconazole, an imidazole precursor, lasts longer with potent antifungal activity to relieve itching, redness, scaling, and discomfort caused by dermatophyte and yeast infections faster. A high therapeutic level of skin penetration followed by prolonged activity makes it a good choice by both doctors and patients.

The absence of greasiness in the cream is one quality of Lulicast, allowing it to absorb into the skin efficiently. It eradicates the fungus bacteria deep in the affected areas and brings complete symptom relief without any irritation.

Mechanism of Action

  • Luliconazole acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane.
  • By blocking the enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase, it disrupts the cell membrane structure, leading to increased permeability and cell death.
  • This targeted action results in effective elimination of dermatophytes, yeasts, and certain molds responsible for superficial skin infections.
  • The long retention time of Luliconazole in the stratum corneum ensures sustained antifungal activity, reducing the chances of recurrence.
